I do not believe there is a direct connect. Charles Schulz lived in Santa Rosa for many years before passing away. His museum is here as well as Snoopy's Home Ice.BeachedBear said:

Another cartoonist living in Santa Rosa is Stephan Pastis, the creator of Pearls Before Swine. He is a Cal graduate and did some strips of Cal football when Jeff Tedford was our coach.
