Much less important, in recent times I have always sort of hoped he'd come coach here

So unbelievably sad. I had a routine procedure that same morning. You just never know. My condolences to the entire Abdur-Rahim famiky.

And yes, I was hoping he would be chosen as the Cal coach too.

So sad. I think he was one of the favorites of some of us until Madsen came into picture. Condolences to Shareef and the entire family. RIP.
