I might be jumping the gun, I might not have had enough time to reflect, but watching the game in person my initial reaction is that in watching Cal basketball for almost 60 years, I cannot ever remember a team that has as many wide-bodies as this one.
It's something that I have often thought about. I know its just one game but man we have some physical guys. The most impressive to me was D.J. Campbell. The guy is a tank. And he is a tank with athleticism, the type of guy that any team can use on their roster.
First impression, this team plays hard physical defense, completely the opposite from last year guys. The fact that we may go 10-11 deep is a plus that it allows the players on the floor to go all out. At the least, I hope for an entertaining season.
