If you believe in forever
Then life is just a one-night stand
If there's a rock and roll heaven
Well you know they've got a hell of a band

Terrible shooting by Vandy. They won it from the foul line. Looks like they want to to pound it inside. Might be Dort time.
Bring back It’s It’s to Haas Pavillion!

I hope Dort is ready to go against his previous school. Vandy doesn't have dominating bigs.

Interesting factoids:

CAL ranks 353rd in opponents' PCT from three: 45.2
Vandy ranks 361st in PCT from three: 18.6 (on almost 30 a game)

We have never defended the three well with Madsen, Fox, Jones, Braun or Campanelli. (anyone but Monty and Boseman - latter due to talent, mostly)

snipped from the net (tnx googly)..
> 3-point line history, explained
> When did college basketball introduce the 3-point line?
> The 1986-87 season was the first season in which the 3-point line was adopted across all college basketball conferences. Before that season, select conferences experimented with a 3-point line.
muting more than 300 handles, turnaround is fair play

I guess Monday was a holiday but wow. This was not even an ACC game and they will not be back on campus until Friday, then fly down to play SC for a single game this weekend. People talked a lot about the effect of travel on the football team, but basketball is going to be the real challenge, academically as much as athletically.
