I was checking the December game's box score. What answer do we have for Raynaud? Getting swept by Furd this year would leave a really bad aftertaste to the season. We can't count on Andrej to put up 25 again - yes, he had 22 against Tech, but he averaged only 8.4 the previous 5 games. So who's going to step up?

we can't allow Raynaud to shoot completely wide open 3s at the top of the key

the problem is if our centers go out to guard him we lose our rim protector, and we need them in the paint as we don't have strong perimeter defenders

It's a dilemma

Agreed, our centers have to stay put, they are not fast enough to leave the key… that will mean a mismatch on the perimeter, but even a 6' 3 in hand in the face at the 3-point line is enough to disrupt his shooting process. I trust Madsen and Co. have a game plan on both sides of the court… bring the offense of the Ga. Tech game and scrappy D and we have a good chance.
