CHARLOTTE, N.C. – California freshman guard Jeremiah Wilkinson was named the ACC Men’s Basketball Sixth Man of the Year and sophomore guard Andrej Stojakovic earned an All-ACC Team honorable mention, it was announced on the ACC Network’s ACC PM show Monday.

Wilkinson also earned a spot on the five-player All-Rookie Team, highlighting a dynamic freshman season in Berkeley in which he averaged 15.4 points per game and was named ACC Rookie of the Week three times.

The 2024-25 All-ACC Team and award-winners were determined by an 81-member panel consisting of the league’s 18 head coaches and 63 members of the media. The full list of All-ACC honorees can be viewed on TheACC.com.

Wilkinson ended the regular season in second among ACC freshmen in scoring (15.4 PPG), 3-pointers made per game (1.9) and field goals made per game (5.0) this season. The left-hander from Powder Springs, Georgia, was a double-figure scorer in 18 of 20 ACC games and 25 of 31 total contests and had 20-plus points 10 times. He most recently erupted for a career-high 36 points on 11-of-18 shooting in a quadruple-overtime loss at Notre Dame in the regular-season finale.

The rookie’s early-season efforts proved to be enough to earn the league’s Sixth Man of the Year nod. Wilkinson – who started the final 13 games of the regular season (since Jan. 22) and averaged 20.4 PPG in that span – came off the bench in Cal’s first 18 contests, averaging 11.7 PPG. He ranked seventh nationally among players with zero starts (second among freshmen) prior to his first career start and tallied three 20-point performances off the bench, including 24 at Pitt on Jan. 1.

Stojakovic solidified himself as one of the most complete players in the ACC with his honorable mention. The sophomore is one of only two ACC players averaging at least 16.8 points – the ninth most in the league – 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 blocks per game, joining ACC Player of the Year Cooper Flagg (Duke). Stojakovic had 11 20-point games, including a 30-piece at Clemson on Jan. 4.

Stojakovic posted his first career double-double against Stanford (16 points, 10 rebounds) and most recently blocked a career-best six shots to go along with 21 points in the four-OT defeat at Notre Dame.

Wilkinson and Stojakovic will lead Cal into an ACC Tournament first-round matchup against 10th-seeded Virginia Tech on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. PT/4:30 p.m. ET at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
