Cal would be a good option. He gets to live in California. Play for an LDS coach with NBA ties. Of course get that NIL money.

Staying in the big 12 would be too much for me so hopefully not.

Yes, and there's even a special name for it: a Marfo.

For those of you that are new here, a Marfo is someone who transfers back to the school they originally transferred from - a nod to rebounding legend Kevin Marfo from Quinnipiac.

In this case, Devan Cambridge would be a Marfo if he returned to Auburn.

How about a Boofo?

While maybe not a homerun, Hall would be close.

2 years ago as a sophomore starter he averaged 9 pts, 5 assists and 3.5 reb a game---his numbers dropped last year since Egor Demin became the starter.

He's got great size at 6'4 so he should be a good defender at the point of attack, he's a pretty decent athlete, high-level conference and big game experience---but most of all I think he's a steady floor general that can run an offense which is what we desperately need.

Pulled this from a scouting article:

• Really solid combo-guard; He is playing more off the ball this year with the emergence of Demin;
• Loves to get his teammates involved. Great drive-and-kick guy;
• Good three-point shooter: 36/96 (38%);
• Not a good free-throw shooter as a guard: 37/56 (66%).

Don't know much about him. He has a very nice A/TO ratio (2.5:1), but the rest of his stats aren't particularly great. Alarming is his career FT percentage for a PG (64%), but if he is a plus defender he would be a good pick-up.

JohnFox what's the inside line on JuCo recruits, are we close on any of them? Not sure why we would get another guard like Hall when we have Ames, Ruff and DJ already. We need size.

His advanced stats were pretty good as a sophomore starting 30 games but were very average as a junior mostly coming off the bench.

I have to say I'm pretty surprised that JOJ hasn't gotten a deal yet, I thought he would have a new team by now. Any chance he comes back?

If JOJ comes back who is he going to beat out for playing time?

True, the new guys kind of put his starting slot in jeopardy, he'd have to do better than Camden and Yeanay. I liked what he showed last year, would like to see more, and maybe if he's challenged by the new guys in practice he'll up his shooting game.

JOJ isn't coming back unless as a walk on. The roster is complete.

It looks there is not enough NIL money for a player that I mentioned and it appears they are done at this point of the cycle.

Askew is going to his 5th team in 6 years? His stats at Long Beach were finally really good (especially from 3) now going to Villanova.
