I'm not very surprised. The signs were all pointing that way. At least he's not going to an ACC team.

He just likes teams formerly coached by Mark Fox

Man I hate the current landscape of college sports. It's worse than the NFL or NBA. You can cheer for Steph Curry as a Warrior for many years. We get a good player, and they are gone in a year. I can only hope they impose some sort of collective bargaining restrictions on annual transfers.

I don't think there's any way of enforcing that without de facto admitting that the players are employees, which the NCAA wants to avoid at all costs.

Did Wilkinson leave just for the money or did playing for a losing program have a major effect?

You may be right, in which case, we will be stuck in this screwed up hell of rent-a-players for one season and lose fully the heart and soul of athletics, not to mention college athletics. Player development is one of the joys of the game. For anyone to think the players are not employees already is joking themselves.

What about Andrej? Anyone have any insight about whether he's staying or going? Losing our TWO best players would be quite a blow.

Georgia's coach is consistent 20 game winner over 3 different conferences. They also lost their starting pg.

They are definitely student employees, albeit ones that make 1000x more than the kid in the library with a book cart (do those exist?)
Pretending they're not employees is what got us into this situation. Time to set some rules and create a system vs this Wild West bull.

Of course they're employees. But the NCAA has been fighting against that idea for decades. Their whole business model goes away the second that amateurism facade is struck down legally. They would rather have this.
