He shot .412 for threes and .529 tot for his last year at W. Carolina. He has a decent outside shot and is strong and crafty around the basket. During the last game when blacksher was injured and Madsen couldn't pull him he did 19/10. Underrated.

Just for sake of discussion, the one thing I DON'T worry about is DJ's athleticism. To me that's his strongest asset. For him to help us more, his skill level is what needs most improvement. Fewer turnovers, more consistency in his shooting is what he should be working on. But athleticism problem? Just look at the guy.

In the games I saw he didn't he seem to be the best defender, was not lockdown. That is how I usually judge athleticism

Perhaps last season, but that isn't saying a whole lot. It probably won't be the case next year with Nolan Dorsey in the room.

and our D was pretty much trash, so not much of a compliment

Andrej had some matchup advantages on D due to his height that I hope we can exploit more often next season.

He pretty much shut down Burton of ND in the second half like he couldn't even get a shot off -- until Andrej got into foul trouble. Yes it's weird to say anyone who dropped 43 was shut down at any point. But most of that was either not Andrej guarding him or when he had 4 fouls and basically couldn't guard him closely.
