I like the coaches challenge rule. hate all the official's stoppages during a game. Seems like they always take excessive time and kills the flow. I like that officials can decide to review questionable plays in last 2 minutes of game.

I think MBB should move to quarters as long as they get rid of the current the current media timeout. The media shouldn't impact anything about the game.

Perhaps the most interesting change is the continuation plays, however this will definitely get the ire of many fans as it does in the NBA as it's often inconsistently called.

I agree about quarters, which just about every other form of organized basketball uses.

"Changes include a coach's challenge at any point in a game to review ...whether a secondary defender was in the restricted-area arc."

Does anyone know what this is referring to? Does it suggest that an offensive foul cannot occur if someone other than the "fouled" player is in the restricted area? So a player charging down the court at full speed runs right over a defender at the top of the key but a different defender is standing under the basket....?? That seems bizarre. It doesn't sound like they are changing this rule (whatever it is - and I hope I am misunderstanding); just adding to the list of things a coach can challenge.

OK, ignore my previous question. I looked it up. The "secondary defender" is indeed the player getting fouled (or not). It doesn't refer to a defender not directly involved in any impact. The reason for the reference to "secondary" is that the rule itself does not apply to the "primary defender", i.e. the defender trying to prevent the offensive player from getting to the basket in the first place (something I had not realized).
