Mike Montgomery, the former basketball coach, is now working in a part-time role assisting the athletic director at Stanford University. He is involved in fundraising and public relations, leveraging his extensive experience in the athletic department. Additionally, he was recently inducted into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame.

Monty was long ago in the Stanford Hall of Fame and has been a regular at their basketball events, even while working for Cal. I don't believe he and Sara ever moved from the Peninsula. One of Monty's players, Eric Reveno, was an assistant to Kyle Smith and is now their basketball GM. Seems like Monty's health is good and he is doing well.

Monty is 78 and probably looks back fondly at his time at both institutions. He helped us land Madsen and is likely happy to help Stanford as well.
