Same as BCA, with a stretch prediction of 17-14 when they finally figure out how to close out an OT game.
Those of you predicting same or worse than last year… involuntary refunds of your season tickets are now being issued.

At the start of the season I was expecting a 9-4 noncon and hoping for 10-3.

At 12-1 I'm dreaming of 11-7 (final record of 23-8) but expecting 9-9 (final record of 20-10). I would be happy with 9-9 and somewhat disappointed if we win less than 7. Madsen has done a great job with this turnaround.

Dream scenario to get us to 11-7 posted below. The games marked with a "?" are the ones I could see as the most likely losses, and the ones that would have us at 9-9. Go Bears!

I think 5th place in the ACC (probably 11-7 or better) is where we need to be to make the NCAA Tournament. Coaches poll has us there right now (and #31) and your W/L list above is a pretty good template that we can use as a +/- guide. Right now Ken Pom would switch Clemsen and SMU for Syracuse and Wake. The key is any loss on the predicted wins side requires a win on the predicted loss side.

yea, I saw Lunardi currently has us in the "First Four out". I hate having to root for ucla, but it would be great for us if they win a lot of conference games.

Would really love to win one of Louisville/UNC/Duke.

Louisville can shoot it, but they don't have a big that scares me.
Have only seen UNC once, and I don't expect a W, but I think we have a shot at home.
Not sure how we contain Boozer + Ngonba.

17-18 wins now would mean we go 5-13 or 6-12 in conference finishing near the bottom again which would be VERY disappointing even if we hadn't blown through our generally easy OOC schedule going 12-1.
