Long since back from the Haas... I optimistically chose to respond to this post because, yes, even though this evening wasn't a good experience, indeed we lost games like this in the not-too-distant past.
The Bears didn't play well this evening. Remember, we were up against the Blue Hose. Again, the BLUE FREAKING HOSE. And we barely squeaked out a win.
Poor first half shooting. Poor rebounding all game. Spotty, inconsistent defense. We need to do better... and I think we will.
Especially though, it was almost unbelievable
how sparse the crowd was. I get it: Why show up for this, after eight years of "sub-mediocrity". And I use that term euphemistically. But goodness gracious, what a small turnout. Especially the chairback sections, which were 1/4 full, at best. We need to keep racking up the wins and promote, promote,
promote!
