To me it looked like the foul was well before the shooting motion. I saw a light push, then Ames set his feet, then jumped, then released the shot. I'm not sure about what constitutes a shooting motion.
It is the new "continuation" emphasis.

Thanks for that. IMHO the contact was well before any upward motion and it was not a running jump shot.
