I still can't figure out why Dort would not want to make a name for himself (and presumably more $$$) internationally. Maybe he actually wants a specific grad degree? Anyone know?

he could be a long term thinker and realizes that long term a good degree will do a lot for him .. then again he might just be a true Golden Bear and throw rationality aside

Plenty of time to play internationally. If he is getting good pay at Cal, likes it here and yeah, maybe sees value in the degree, then why not? But most importantly, I think he is getting far better big man development coaching than he would likely get overseas, which could affect his future trajectory.
