Impressed by him when we played Pitt. The way he was shooting against us I thought he was like a 14 PPG scorer, and when I looked him up I was surprised that he was averaging like 7 PPG (at the time) on a crap team.
I was impressed as well. He also played really well in some other end of season games, including against NC State in the ACC tourney (which was a wildly fun game).
It seems like he struggled with multiple injury issues throughout the season which probably limited both minutes for a depleted Pitt team and also effectiveness.
He had some good recruiting action so if he's healthy, we might see a bouncier athlete next year, especially if he can improve on strength, which seems like a notable weakness right now.
I think this move has some major upside potential.
