A quick search shows this... not saying that Rod makes that much, but my complete guess is that he makes 6 figures which isn't too bad.

I saw this article saying foreign Korean players start at $35k per month.

Not sure if they get paid over the course of a full year or just for 5-6 months they are in Korea, but that's decent. Benson's stats are close to one of those guys making $350k, so that's not out of the question, especially if he's popular over there.

OP, thanks for the link. Always interesting to read Rod Benson's thoughts and get an update on his career. Some of his past blogs have been really hilarious.
