Steve Lavin when he was at UCLA?

Quin Snyder at Missouri?

Todd Bozeman at Cal?

Matt Doherty at North Carolina?

But yeah, point taken. See ya after this season, Johnny.

Great! Stanford will hire a great coach and will move to the top of the Pac.

Hate to say it, but UCLA is saying the same thing about our close struggle with Oakland.

And Johnny D had his way with us in Berkeley last year, incompetent or not.

I think the current Baylor coach, whose name I don't know, deserves a mention here.

Stanfurd likes his clean cut Duke personna. He will never win the PAC-12, but he might get an NIT banner. We are so fortunate that Monty came to Cal.:gobears:

Sure Cal had one close game against Oakland, everyone does. UCLA almost lost to Drexal. But Stanfurd got ran out of the gym by BYU and has been close or behind in every game.

Time that Dawkins gets an extension!

I had dinner the other night with two relatives who are Stanford grads. They don't like Dawkins as a coach. They asked me if I could tell them what Dawkins' coaching philosophy is, because they can't figure it out. I replied that I think it is just to beat Cal and ruin Cal's seasons. He has been doing a pretty good job of this lately, last year whipping Cal twice, keeping Cal from winning the PAC12 title outright, and they did the same thing the year before, whipping Cal down on the farm at the end of the season to hand the PAC12 title to Colorado. Even if Dawkins can't beat other teams, he looks too darn successful to this Cal fan.
