Oregon State did lose to Coppin State, and UW lost to UC Irvine. UW avoided a second bad loss tonight by outscoring Eastern Washington 29-10 in the last 10 minutes to pull out a 92-80 win.

UCI would have beaten a lot of teams with the way they played that night.

Yes but for the Coppin St game Ore St didn't have Devon Collier who debuted vs Maryland with a mere 29 pts 11 boards 2 blocks and 2 steals. And they won this game still missing Moreland.

Devon Collier just gave notice to the Pac12
Once they get Moreland back I think we will see that they are a very good team with talent and experience (Nelson is a very good player who scored 31 pts)

this maybe the breakout year for OSU
if it's not, then I think OSU will take a big step down with Nelson, Collier, Brandt graduating, and probably JR Moreland going pro

by the way, SO Langston Morris-Walker from Berkeley, a player that I thought Cal should have signed (he was a Soldier, wanted to go to Cal, and is an athlete) has played 2 minutes in 3 games, and has zero positive stats (his only stats is 1 PF and 1 TO). He DNP vs Maryland.

Evidently, the Beavers' win comes after a visit to the WH the day before, when the Pres. exhorted the team to win the game for his brother-in-law. If the Pres was the reason the Beavs won, OSU has to figure-out how to arrange a "pep talk" before every game this season. Right.

lmw had a solid 3.2 gpa in hs & a good attitude/work ethic but lacks a single area of his game that he is exceptonal

hopefully he's get his opportunity at osu down the road
