Bird opened with a three. Wallace playing a little out if control, though he got nice and one just now. Keavish hasn't scored but he is very active on the boards

Anybody noticed that we switched calling the shot clock from calling it early to calling it late, ala all the attention that Michigan State fans are getting?

On the air ball? Don't think the fans caused it. Fan chant was at about 6 when the clock was at 1 or 2, and the guy was aware and rushed the shot, as he needed to.

Yes, I realize that is the goal - and I like the goal. I am just saying it did not work this time because it didn't seem to me that it fooled the guy. I could be wrong - but that was my impression.

maybe not completely fool him, but perhaps we created some confusion b/c he sees a clock and hears a different clock. The end result is exactly what we wanted though.

He wasn't fooled again. Heard the counting, looked up, drove to the hoop. Smart players won't fall for this, but I still like it. It should actually be changed up repeatedly throughout the game.

agreed. If we can alternate and change it by going fast, going slow, then take it to another level and change the tempo in between seconds, that'd be amazing

What a difference the past 2 years made. So proud of this guy.
I remember his freshman year he had an NBA body (needed to bulk up, sure...but he had the hops and the length). Now maybe we can finally see it realized. So excited for him

Agree with all the comments about Solo. He looks like a beast!!!
he is being much more aggressive going for steals. I'm wondering if he can play like that in p12 play
time to pull the starters? don't want anybody getting injured here
