Nice to see Christian get some PT today. That guy has had a ton of bad luck with injuries. In his ten minutes he grabbed some nice rebounds. Perhaps he'll get some run during the conference schedule, as he gets stronger and more confident on his leg.

He looks very weak, but has improved over the last two months. If he can recover over the course of this year, he will get pt his final two years.

I was only able to watch this game on TV, but Behrens did not look weak on TV. I saw him actually rip a rebound out of a Furman player's hands, and then a minute or two later, I saw him run about 20 feet, chasing another Furman player to the sideline, where he ripped the ball away from that player and tried to tap it to a teammate or keep it alive, but it was picked up by another Furman player. Honestly, I've seen Behrens play before, and I can't ever remember seeing him play so aggressively. He looks quick to me. I didn't see him favoring his knee at any time. If he can continue to play aggressively like he did yesterday, I'm left with only a couple of concerns: his stamina, and can he put the ball in the basket? He has got to be rusty. However, we should certainly be somewhat encouraged by his short stint yesterday.

I also thought he looked active, probably more so than any time previously.

Let's hope his luck has changed and he gets a chance to show his worth.

Good to see him back on the floor for some extended playing time. i was happieest to see him get up off the floor after falling on a play under the Furman hoop with a Furman player and after going down after being hit in the mouth orfalling on his face/mouth. he does need much more time out there to get comfortable and playing fearlessly.

On TV it looked like his chin came down on the top of Rooks' head, the equivalent of being hit by an uppercut.

Earlier, I saw that he was wearing a mouthpiece. I hope that saved him from serious injury.

At the game he looked noticeably weak. He rebounded a couple of times but hardly got off the floor when jumping. He looked like he could not push off. He could rebound because of his long arms. Good to see him playing hard however.

Anybody who can position his chin high enough over Rooks' head to get hurt is more than hardly getting off the floor.

Great point. On TV, where the camera was shooting from behind the basket, Behrens' chin was well above Rooks' head, and he came crashing down into the head which snapped his own head backwards.

Good article. It's cool to hear that there's a story behind the improvement that we'd been seeing.

Nice. It's good to know that he wants to play hard.

Behrens looked like a guy who could play when I first saw him. But then he got hurt and then he looked tentative. I was hoping that would be behind him this year, but he was a ghost, until now. It's amazing what a little adjustment can mean. I do think he can help us quite a bit.

Like Powers, he was quite good tonight. Nice to see some depth developing. Now if only we can get those freshmen going.
