Hey I haven't been a nega bear much at ALL this year ;-) I didn't think we could get it in the second half - not because of lack of effort but because honestly there were things we did during the first half that just had all the signs of tired legs. Justin came up short on two of those elbow shots he is auto on and Solo yanked his first FT. They found something deep to pull through. ;-)

The Bear will not quit...

If this doesn't get Haas full, I don't know what will.

We cant sell out Haas even if the AD offers each attendee $100 to attend game.

I dropped some coin for 4 tickets to the UofA game last night. Could be a big one if we keep winning...

That's right. Sorry, Beavers, but The Glove Night has no love.

Honestly I bet Monty told Justin to save his legs for the second half.

Interview with Jeff Powers, he said Monty ripped into them at half, woke them up.

Without trying to get in deficits, I honestly don't think Monty cares too much about winning the first half. I think the game ending total means sooo much more

Monty is praising Powers and Mathews. He is a happy guy (for Monty)

I admit I agree totally, but we were both wrong. Thank goodness. Love the comeback, but I put it mostly on halftime and MM and his advice: "Justin, you need to take this team on your shoulders, right now."

On the post game he pointed to nothing more (or less) than getting with it on defense. He really didn't say they did anything other than that - along with heaping a HUGE bunch of Monty Praise on Powers for hitting those threes - which he said then opened up the middle for Justin and Wallace.

I know it is blue and gold colored glasses but honestly their ceiling on this team now seems pretty darn high. The emergence of Mathews and Powers (and to a degree Christian Brehens) starts to answer some serious questions.

Oh and Post-Game Monty said Bird is pretty sure to be back against the Huskies.
