I'm so pleased that he (and the other seniors) got a W in the last regular season game at Haas. I'm especially glad that he made his huge FTs after the anomalous misses against Utah.

Class act. For my money, Cobbs has been the most complete point guard we've had on both sides of the ball since Kidd. Hope he finishes with a bang.

Agree. Too many empty seats yesterday for an important game. If you are a Cal fan and live in the Bay Area, shame on you.

just make sure you open the windows...voices carry

on the other hand, why don't you just throw caution to the ******* wind & steal some wheels & drive to vegas?

one of the downsides of a world class education shouldn't be becoming a mature responsible grown up with measured priorities

Powers, Solomon and Cobbs come out with their families... I'm up on my feet clapping... I dare not catch the crowd in my peripheral vision, as there are so many empty seats it would make me sick.

Some empty seats were for folks who just never came to the game. No doubt lotsa students had mid-terms coming up.

Others were for people who eventually arrived, but could not see fit to leave 15 minutes earlier to see the seniors walk out.

Still others were for chairbacks who were enjoying a tasty beverage behind their expensive seats and came out later when they were good and ready. Hey, their money really helps the program!

Hey, Jeff, Rich and Justin: Nice years at Cal! We love you! Go Bears!

there were 9500 true cal fans at the game, you know, the ones who don't just watch on tv

that's a very good turnout for college basketball on the west coast

a lot of them aren't in their seats prior to the game because they're drinking downstairs by the baseball field or eating near campus

bears fans are not a early arrival crowd...the bay area isn't a dump like salt lake city or spokane

We were there guys but arrived just after the start due to the difficulty in finding parking. There were something like 5 or 6 different sporting events on campus that afternoon and it made the notoriously difficult Berkeley parking very difficult. We searched all around the south side street level and even entered a lot (multi story) that was full. I ended up parking blocks away in a City owned lot out of necessity. So, in defense of some, it was a very busy afternoon on campus which played into some folks arriving late. I've always enjoyed Senior Day and will never forget Jorge's and Harper's. The fans really showed their love as it should be.

Yeah you're right.

Get there 15 min. early once a year to cheer for the seniors when they walk out for the last time... What was I thinking? After all, there are midterms to be studied for, nice weather to be enjoyed, drinks to be drunk, etc. Plus, how could Cal fans arrive early when they're not an early arrival crowd?

Completely agree! There sure is a lot going on with trees and an infant and 4 yr old. It is my goal to at least get to a game or two each season. Sucks. I would totally get season tickets if I had more time and money.

Unfortunately, I am an armchair fan most of the time, but have had to go with radio when I'm out pruning in January/February.
