I know there's an Olympic sports board, but nonetheless it is worth it to note that the Cal Men's Swimming and Diving team won the national championship last night (3rd in the last 4 years), beating out Texas, Florida, and Michigan. The win was something of an upset, as Michigan was favored going into the meet. Freshman Ryan Murphy won a double in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke (the latter in an insane 1:37.35, which is an NCAA record). Way to represent, Bears!
