Has his name come up in any of the discussions about candidates for HC? He was a great player and assistant coach for Cal. Really a good coach for working with the bigs. I think he would be a dynamic recruiter.

I doubt it. Wheels has been in insurance and out of coaching (aside from his son's youth ball teams) since he left the staff near the end of Braun's tenure.

Great guy, but I doubt there would be much interest at this point from either side.

Good guy. Zero chance. I don't think Wheels has ever even had the second chair, much less the head chair.
