First, its not like i've never seen anyone dunked on before. Its just that there's so much thats so funny here. First the obvious...white dude that really doesn't look like he has hops... explodes. Second, the face of the Florida A&M teammate as he's staring at his guy with that look of "Oh my god dude, that just happened to you".

Luckily we won't be playing AT Wyoming. Their crowd was geared up for CU.

Man, I can't believe you guys. Y'all are so stupid! Didn't you know they lowered the rims in Wyoming to 9 feet for all their home games? There are no black people in that whole state and they got tired of watching highlights like this always of OTHER teams, so they made the change earlier this year.
We used to dunk like that at the local elementary school. It's much more fun a sport that way, as you can see in the clip.

Clearly, Larry Nance Jr., the defender, forgot about the rule change or he would have climbed the ladder and swatted his **** into the 2nd row.

Larry Nance Jr. I assume is the son of super dunking NBA Larry Nance. However, this Nance was not the defender, but rather the shockedWyoming teammate who had just assisted on the play.

All the hype around plays like these means players try to "dunk on" someone when the smarter play is a pull-up, or floater that is high percentage, but can't be blocked. Wallace got rejected on a dunk attempt agains Cal Poly and their big leaper missed two dunk attempts (the first was rejected by Okoroh and he fumbled the second ball out of bounds while measuring his course to the rim.)

Wallace has been really good penetrating for close range floaters and Bird has been really good on the pull-up short-range stuff. Mathews and Singer usually go all the way to the basket with mixed success.

Moute a Bidias could be our highest flying dunker, but he was rejected flying in for a dunk on a fast break earlier in the season. If a defender is positioned to make a block attempt, then finding a teammate for an open 3-point shot or pulling up for an un-blockable short range shot makes me happier a a fan.

Clearly, the phrase "act like you've been there before" has not made it up to Wyoming yet.

Let's do the following as a study:

All D1 school test their players' vertical leap, then assemble the data with the following columns:
Race
Height
Vertical jump

What would the vert leap be for different races? Clearly, there are many mixed race players to obscure this.
What would the vert leap be for different heights? At what heights do players verts diminish? I'm assuming it increases as standing height increases, but then goes down with the super tall guys, who lack athleticism but are on squads simply due to height. But maybe it could be that the shortest guys have the highest verts and that's how they compete with taller dudes. Therefore, instead of a bell curve it would be a straight line down. Hmm.
I guess the NBA already has this data assembled with their pre-draft data.

Clearly you weren't watching the guy who made the dunk. He played it off like it was no big deal. His teammates were the ones going crazy.
