Why does he insist on shooting every one hand runner right-handed??? He's left handed!!! Maybe he should shoot fts righty.

Especially annoying when I took the bears -6!

Chill, dude. You won.

I think it's because the defender is playing his left hand so the right is free for the shot. He's been very effective with that move.

Wallace sat out half the second half. I am not sure he was too exhausted to make free throws. Fresneck played hard. Good win

I get that, but he goes with the right even when he has a wide open look.

I think there is a lot of people I would question before I did Wallace….The man is a baller, and saved our arse today…I know my sphincter was getting a bit tight when he was out for about 10 minutes of the second half. How about yours? Criticize, but where would we be without he and Kravish?

I was thinking during the game today that Fresno State used to be a dumping ground for disenfranchised Cal players: Tremaine Fowlkes, Shantay Legens, and Dominic McGuire.

I don't blame him, except for the multiple mental errors. He is what he is, a flawed basketball player with amazing talent and a defensive force. I blame the coaches that have him in there at end of close games, or at least not having the ball run through other players who can make FTs. And Singer should start and handle the ball in the half-court, with Wallace working off the screens and getting open off the ball. Is Chauca able to hit FTs? Maybe he should be on the court soon to finish games.

That said, it was a win on the road and that always feels good.

Everyone is crazy. Tyrone Wallace was the reason we won today and was dynamic driving the ball and he rebounded well.

Sure his free throw shooting wasn't great, but let's not go overboard, he's the best player on this team and the big reason we are 5-1

of all the criticism a fan can post about Wallace, I don't get this one. Finishing at the basket (right or left hand) is probably the single best skill that Wallace has.

Good road win for the Bears. I'll take it.

My point is that he shoots with his right when he doesn't have to. It's as if he's trying to prove that he can do it. I bet he's shot less than 30 percent over his career on shots he's taken right handed when he didn't have to.

If Singer keeps playing the way he played today he'll be lucky if he keeps his backup role.

I seriously suggest you leave Wallace alone. As one poster suggested, he is why we are 5-1…Now that might be excessive, for DK has a lot to do with that, as does JM to some degree…But Wallace with his total game is the win today vs. a tossup…Like it or not…Free throws or not….

He can shoot the runners with his right foot and his eyes closed if he delivers 21 points and 10 rebounds.

It is crazy that Cal's best player has received so much hate on this board.

You know you have orthodox Boxers and I guess you can have orthodox Basketball Players. Keep up the good work Wallace and it will come all together. Great win GO BEARS

Bearister: Fresno, per their roster, still picks up a lot of players from other schools---just not a revolving door like Oregon and USC among others.

TW had a great game and without his play on Sunday, very good chance team would have came away with a L.
Rare to have PG with double/double and R and not A being second double. His lateral movement/vert in paint enables TW to slide to scoop up rebounds as he is faster to ball then most 4 and 5's in the paint.

Many of TW family/friends in attendance, so glad TW had a great game in front of family during holiday weekend.

Well, I guess you are a gambler and never played basketball much at all.
If you had, you would understand that he is ambidextrous and that shooting is a rhythm thing. He makes so many layups with his right and/or left, it is an incredible talent. You, frankly, sound like a fool for criticizing his ability to slash and get to the bucket and convert as he does. That skill is why he is an NBA prospect.

We did precisely that for a stretch in the 2nd half--Singer handling the ball and Wallace as the 2. The offense was clearly more stagnant.

Sure, besides the fact that Wallace leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals and is the team's best defender, Kravish is the best.

There are 2 camps here on BI.

One camp feels TW is best player on team while other camp feels DK is.

A key indicator of this is the team's most challenging game of year so far (Texas) both played well while many others in the core rotation struggled.
(for record, I was not able to view game, so, my view if from stat sheet and postings on game)

My view is DK is best all around player for position he plays on team and would pick him 1st out of current roster, but understand why others feel TW is.

Bottom line is both DK and TW will have to play well for team to succeed in P12 play (along with others in rotation)

He was in a very serious car accident last year (he suffered displaced vertebrae). Its somewhat of a miracle that he is even playing this year.
