Nevada is only 2-5, but, if you look carefully, they are actually a lot better than their record indicates as they have lost close games to quality teams.

And Nevada is playing at home in 4,000 feet elevation. I attended Cal-Nevada football game of five years ago where we were supposed to win and things did not turn out well for us.

He looks like he has taken a step backward, no rebounding, no touch inside. But nobody looks good today.

I have only seen him take a couple of shots prior to the start of this game so he doesn't see the ball much.

The inbounds at the end of first half is more of the ugly play. Tarwater standing completely open and Singer forces pass in to Ty? When Sam drives his eyes do not even go to the rim, he is looking for who to pass to the whole drive and it is making him so tentative and unaggressive. Mathews is a great shooter, decent defender, and great glue guy, but I am surprised how rough his handle is. This team looks so unlike that passing dishing driving shooting team of the first few games. There is no distribution or aggressiveness. This is third game in a row where they look adrift. Does Bird make THAT much of a difference? What is it going to take for Sam to click on?

The whole team is cold. Gonna be a grinding effort to win it in the second half.
