I remember Kevin Johnson (all 6'1" of him) throwing a pretty fierce tomahawk on burly Stanfurd center Howard Wright. Also impressive!

I remember one very memorable Monty Buckley dunk on a fast break from the right wing... can't remember if it was at Haas/Harmon or not.

Yep and he had some great ones. Lamond Murray also comes to mind.

Do you remember "the Shipp has landed" dunk. Was that at Haas?

There was that Wallace dunk from 2-3 seasons ago that was pretty ridiculous.

That crossover move with the left handed dunk against WhOregon was wicked too.

Probably not a popular choice but Russell Westbrook's dunk at Haas was, sadly, pretty epic.

I remember that but Jaylen got up way higher. Look at that still photo at the apex. He has the ball just below the top of the backboard. That is David Thompson-esque. (for those old enough to remember).

Yeah. It was like the Westbrook dunk, only better. An almost superhuman effort. I think it was on that bouncy floor at Maples. Does anyone have a link?

Yeah, his freshman year against Colorado, at Haas.

This may have been my favorite cal bball play of all time. It was at Harmon against az. We also ended up losing that game. But man. That was electric.

Lamond had one late in a game in which, owing to an opposing play moving under him, he very nearly became parallel to the court at rim level. The announcer stopped, mid-late game babble, to exclaim "Oh my God!"

Can't resist: Hartmut Ortman at Harmon. Missed the dunk, but threw it so hard that it bounced off the rim into the 10th row of stands along the sideline.

Jaylen's still wins, IMO. He gets up so high, then Schaftenaar collides with him, stopping his momentum toward the basket, but he's so high he just bends at the waste, adding more force to a clean dunk from way out. And-1. Totally calm reaction from Brown and Wallace, but Bird, the bench and the crowd going wild.

5:50 is the very end of the dunk on Penn.

That was at Haas. If I recall correctly, Westbrook was not at that point a big star, though he was thought to have great potential. I thought of the dunk as his coming out party, sadly at our expense.
