This is disappointing chiefly because this was such a wonderful season. I haven't been this excited about Cal BB since Kidd and Murray. I am grateful for a season where watching Cal BB was so much fun, and where I really got into it for the first time in just about forever. GO BEARS!! THANKS BB TEAM AND COACH MARTIN!!

Yes Kevin Riley the guy who made Jeff Tedford turn himself into a mental institution. I remember that genius.

Just a simple call for some measure of restraint.

The Oregon State game in 2007 was unbelievable. We were that close to #1. I am not upset today.

I was disappointed about Ty's injury, Bird's ailment, Coach Yann's indiscretion, and the early fouls. Even before tip-off looked a huge challenge today. They fought hard. More than 30 minutes each from Singer, Rabb and Matthews. 26 minutes from Moute a Bidias. I appreciated the effort.

Still - It was an enjoyable season. Made it to Haas for most of the home games. Enjoyed the 18-0 record and late season run. Best Cal team in a long time.

Yep. Saying that our fab freshmen didn't play up to their potential this year isn't a hot take. It's the harsh truth. It was all #hype and horshesh*t this year.

We will have to disagree.

18-0 at home. One of the hottest teams in the country in February. The Bears played well in stretches. Cal will need to recruit better players across the board to hang with Duke, Arizona, Kansas,Kentucky, North Carolina, Villanova, and Michigan State (oops). One great class does not turn it around overnight.

Many thought Cal wins the Pac 12 and at least make the sweet 16. Many ESPN pundits put Cal in the Final 4, so yes the season in my view was a failure.

I'm really frustrated and am wondering whether we're cursed, but in no way does that translate to me holding anything against anyone who put on a Cal uniform and fought the good fight today.
