I've seen hints that there are other possibilities than you've suggested. I have no knowledge personally but we did seem to be offering one more guy last year than the apparent available schollies would have supported.

You should probably credit the author of that table if you're going to use it here.

Correct.
As you can see, Cornell has taken the last available spot for next year.
We had one that went unused initially, but was awarded to Brendan Glapion mid-season. He graduates.
We also have a second one available for Wallace's graduation.

Those 2 are now to be taken up by Cornell and Coleman, leaving us no more spots open.
The only way that there is room for Robinson (and another) is if/when Brown (and Rabb) declare for the draft. It IS telling that Robinson is down to 2 teams when one of them doesn't have room available. Well, it would only be telling if you did not expect Brown and Rabb to go to the NBA. If you expect them to go, then this isn't telling. I'm banking on them leaving, and thinking that we need 2 adds for next year. Perhaps that will be Robinson and ?

If Brown and/or Rabb stays, we are fine next year:

PG: Coleman/Singer
SG: Bird/Mathews
SF: Jaylen/Davis
PF: Rabb
C: K/2

If they both go NBA, I'm looking at:
PG: Coleman/Singer
SG: Mathews (add Singer/Bird here interchangeably)
SF: Bird/Moute/Robinson
PF: Davis/Domingo/some transfer
C: K2

Credit goes to Nick Kranz of californiagoldenblogs.
Yes, I realize it's always possible that other changes can always occur on any team:
-guys that don't get the PT opportunity they were hoping for can transfer
-guys that decide to go pro unexpectedly, even if not NBA
-grades making players ineligible can cause either of the above. So can personal life situations that many young and hold people go thru.

Or somebody remains on the team but goes off scholarship (pay their own way, academic scholly).

I heard Rabb was going to do exactly that. He was able to find someone to give him a loan based on future earnings, and he Loves Cal so much that he's not only going to stick around and play here a while longer, but talk himself off Scholie so we can bring in more talent!

Can be either positive or negative.

Positive - no scholarships left and will likely remain that way.

Negative - Got outrecruited by Phil Martelli.

Seems like a positive to me, and it's possible we didn't get outrecruited. Who knows what went on behind the scenes. Maybe the transfer took the last available scholly as Rabb/Brown are staying put.

Or, more likely, methinks, Cal is going to have two openings to fill - even still, after all this.
Rough year of recruiting - after Rabb and Brown, we picked up a JC transfer and a 5 ppg role player transfer.
No high school seniors. Ouch. That's not the typical path to getting it done, though I suppose Altman has had success that way...
