Had Ivan not chosen Cal (April 13 2015), would Jaylen Brown have (May 2 2015)?
Had Ivan not chosen to stay at Cal (April 24 2016) would Charlie Moore have chosen Cal (May 17 2016)?
Had Ivan not chosen to stay at Cal, would Marcus Lee have chosen Cal on June 11 2016? We do know how valuable practice players are (not joking, actually).

Perhaps with Ivan picking Cal, twice, we got not just 1 very good player, but 4!

Did any of them say that the main reason they chose Cal was Rabb? Student-athletes usually chose Cal for other reasons, I assume. The academic rep, coach, location, etc. are probably stronger reasons especially since Rabb is certainly gone in a few months.

Rabin added legitimacy to the program. And Brown added even more momentum. None of the others said the main reason they chose Cal was Rabb. Doesnt't mean the dominoes he created didn't make a difference.

The 1st domino starts with Coach Martin.

It's a start. We're fortunate to experience this most excellent Lad. These Lads. However, Coach CM is the glue and gatekeeper.

I don't think there is much doubt that having people like Rabb and Brown choose Cal could be a differentiating factor to a 17 year old. It adds legitimacy and validation to what might otherwise seem like a risky decision. Having them then proceed to be high NBA draft picks has got to be even better. Jaylen getting picked at 3 was HUGE as will Rabb being picked top 5 whenever he decides to go out. But we do need to maintain continuity with Cuonzo to build on this momentum. Glad to see the extension.

Does this mean we won't see endless posts and threads on BI to fire the coach?? After every missed play or shot???

Ah ... Stunned happy silence .....

I agree with gobears. I think Coach Martin and his team are the main domino!
