But wrap your head around the idea that the board of governors of the public university of Pittsburgh has an ATHLETIC committee. This isn't abnormal. Consider the chaos (but probably the winning record) if the UC Regents has 6-7 people that met to oversee athletics.

The idea that I can't get my head wrapped around is that a university so badly wants to be better at putting a ball through a metal ring that it actively and openly considered getting a coach who is reportedly under FBI investigation before that situation is resolved, that the rest of the world doesn't bat an eye at this and acts like it is totally normal, and that the lawyers have to step in and say ***!

College sports is so totally screwed up it is unbelievable. (and yes, I know a lot of people here think my attitude is why Cal loses and there is a problem with that)
