I thought McNeill looked gassed in the second half. Maybe still some fatigue from the China trip. That may be one reason the whole team's offense looked so stagnant in the second half. Nice to see balanced scoring. Good to have five or six guys who can score. Maybe they'll surprise us and win a few games

I think we shot unreasonably well in the 1st half. In the 2nd Austin sat a while, possibly because of trouble defending Hampton's #2. I thought our offense looked a lot better with Austin running it. I credit our coaches for switching to a zone, which kept #2 (relatively) under control and Austin in the game.

Back from the game. Not many people can say that!

We looked decent tonight. Good even, if you take away about ten minutes in the second half. Several players had solid games. Glad Roman Davis is back, for front court depth. I sat for awhile right under the south basket. So, supposedly, Kelly reported at 269 lbs and was down to about 260 a few weeks ago? Hard to believe. First, he just doesn't look that big. Second, he doesn't play like a blob.

I had fun tonight.

Sounds like these bears might be worth watching.

Andre Kelly is the second coming of Wes Unseld. The scouts at some of the better programs f'd up. Thoughts will be running through the minds of NFL scouts regarding the possibilities as well.
