Underdog Liberty is ahead 26-18 with 4.5 minutes to go in the first half on the strength of their 3 point shooting. I don't think that is going to continue.

Haven't checked out the food counters at the arena today because I had a GREAT Middle Eastern lunch before the game in the South Bay*. That restraunt serves the best food I have had anywhere (remember, I have been to a few countries). With that great big meal, I won't be hungry until breakfast!

P.S. I am told the roast beef sandwich ($15) at the arena is good.

Good info. Didn't know that (back in that time I was working 70 hours a week and raising a family). Was McKay fired? How long was he at OSU?

VaTech is taking control with their size and athleticism.

I only know this because he recruited a kid I know from San Joaquin Delta College, Philip Ricci....He coached the 2000- 2001 season while Ricci had knee surgery, he then coached Philip for one year, then quit to take the job at New Mexico....Philip subsequently played his senior year for Jay John and made all Pac 10 first team.....

Yes. I remember back in the 70's Jerry Falwell trying to raise money on his Sunday TV program to build the Liberty University.

Virginia Tech won 67-58.
