Is there room for both Jay John and Trent Johnson or will Jay be "spending more time with his family?"

We will have had two former Stanford head coaches on our bench. Who would've thunk?

jay was head coach at oregon state. lute's asst. at zona.

Jay is a good guy and a very knowledgable basketball mind. Would have been a better AD choce.

He's talking about Trent Johnson.

John is no longer in basketball operations. He is an administrator (Asst.. AD) who has various teams under his purview (e.g,, golf) and is involved in fund raising. He does act as an ambassador for Cal basketball, and maybe Johnson takes over some of those duties. But they are a small part of what John does.
