Read somewhere that he has a visit scheduled with them next week with decision to be made in mid May. Considering that Grace is now at Vandy and they can play they the education angle reasonably well, I think he is gone.

This site has a front-page (premium) article on 2019 player Connor Vanover. I don't know if they specified spring or fall but I think posting the article would not make sense if they thought he were leaving.

Also I doubt Grace could credibly claim that everything good he said about Cal had suddenly changed, or that after a few weeks he knows everything about Vandy. I'm guessing the connection is that Grace knows more about Vanover than vise versa.

He's also visiting Arkansas. It feels like the odds are slim that Cal retains neither Vanover nor Sueing.
