I'm happy that more and more "student-athletes" are graduating.
1) Why do we insist on calling athletes " student-athletes'?? Isn't it understood that athletes are also students??
2) As a general rule, I have found that winning programs underline athletes rather than students, while problematic programs ( football & mens basketball) underline students rather than athletes. 'yes, we lost 75-3, but our GPA's are higher than theirs." Asgeneral rule, fans care more about winning than whether the athletes in question have high GPA's.
