Does this evidence more fondness for Cal than Turd or does he visit the Farm too?

Probably as much the Trent Johnson connection versus Jerod Haase.

And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Time can tear down a building or destroy a woman's face
Hours are like diamonds, don't let them waste
Time waits for no one, no favours has he
Time waits for no one, and he won't wait for me

this is great. after a game where he was announcing, I went up to him, shook his hand and chatted for a while. he was very gracious.

I know he wants to stay connected to basketball, and I'm happy he continues to support the team

If I'm coach fox, I'd make it a big priority to talk to him as often as I could

It would be good for Fox to have him as an offensive consultant as that was his weakness at Georgia. Maybe working with Johnson so he doesn't count as a coach?

I have a very old rivalry friend (Carlmont HS vs. MA and Stanfurd vs. Cal) who invited me multiple times to the Palo Alto club to hear him speak. As much as I hate losing to the Trees, he is real nice guy, a good and informative speaker, and from everything I have seen a class act.

Didn't always love his coaching approach and shoot between the eyes brutally honest talking style, but I felt he was straight with people and authentic

He certainly deserves to be a HOF coach as he got the most out of players and teams

After being inflexible initially, I was impressed with how he adapted. Mixing in zone, and changing from an offense that went through the post, to a guard dominated offense

An amazing achievement was 3 conference MVPs

Monty's parents are UCLA grads. Monty is a UC guy. He just happen to get the Furd job.

Agree with all of this.

Especially impressive when we realize that two of his 3 conference MVPs were not Top 100-ranked high school recruits. Coaching is very important.
