Chancellor Christ has noted that we have a large number of students who are food insecure as well as lacking personal computers. These students have relied on the campus food bank for meals as well as the libraries for computers. Now that they are on their own and classes are online, many cannot attend classes and are seriously food insecure. Apparently there are long lines at the food distribution center in Sproul Hall (moved from the Student Union), and food runs out before all can be served. There is a way we can help. The campus has set up a fund specifically to purchase more food as well as to purchase computers that can be loaned to students in need (but owned by the university). Those interested in donating should go to
