An article on a fucla site suggests it might be possible. One suggestion might be we would be in a pod with Stanford, Usf, Santa Clara and UC davis. Not sure what kind of fun that would be. It would seem with studying a requirement, it might not work or be accepted by the players. A conference pid was suggested but it would involve some travel as well as re aligning the pods after testing and a short break.

Doesn't seem workable, especially since revenue isn't high enough to supportnthe costs. I wonder if football is cancelled if they would even try something like this.

Yeah, the effort the NBA has gone through (and dollars) is incredible...behind the scenes vblogs are impressive...

Think of the viewership if Basketball happens and football does not. We might have to rent the Oakland Coliseum.

....and speaking of the NBA:

" Damian Lillard followed up his 51-point and 61-point outbursts with a 42-point night, leading the Trail Blazers past the Nets, 134-133, and into the play-in series.

Highlight: Lillard, the first player in NBA history to end the regular season with three straight 40-point games, showed off his unlimited range.

First-Team All-Bubble

G: Damian Lillard (POR)
G: Devin Booker (PHX)

F: T.J. Warren (IND)
C: Nikola Joki (DEN)
Second-Team All-Bubble

Sounds much more optimistic than football. More flexibility and options, and perhaps the biggest advantage.... BB gets to see how FB is doing

I've advocated BB starting on thanksgiving and ending for a May Madness anyway. Maybe this will be a movement in that direction
