Larry has been on the hotseat since current college athletes were in elementary school.

The relevant question is, when are the conference's presidents and chancellors going to get around to sending the security guards in to take away Larry's keys and ID badge and escort him out of the building.

Larry is west coast version of The Music Man. With zero experience in broadcasting, Larry sold the starry-eyed Uni Presidents on gazillions in revenue, AND a promise that his -- not theirs -- network would show non-rev, particularly women's, sports 24/7. The fact that his pitch made economic sense or couldn't even pass a common smell test did not matter. The gullibles bought is hook-line-and sinker.

Good work if you can get it.

It is one thing to be conned initially by a shyster with no actual experience in the job but years later to stay loyal to the guy while he continues to get rich at your expense while continually demonstrating his incompetence?

Totall agree. The buck stops with the 12 Uni presidents. That they choose to continue to enable the incompetent p12net chief is on them. I'm sure that there are plenty of p-12 alums who have moved into Wall Street/VC/Finance who would volunteer their professional expertise to show the Presidents the continued errors of their ways.

Heck, you could randomly pick names from the Berkeley phone listing and put that person in Larry's place.

Scott agreed to slash his $5.3-million salary by half (he already had cut it by 12% in July because of the pandemic). Scott now was taking heat inside Pac-12 headquarters for fast-tracking bonuses to himself and other executives before announcing layoffs and furloughs for nearly 100 staff members.
