Not sure why I bother tuning in. We are light years away from being am average Braun team.
We need guys who can score. Period
Betley and Foreman are role players that help when you have already 3 solid scorers and not the types that should be counted on to lead the offense, but we do. We only really have one real scorer in Matt. Grant is too inconsistent. No one else. We have a guard that doesn't even look to score. And the D. I thought at least Fox knew how to scheme that?Bear8995 said:

If Kelly can get going it would really help the team. He needs to use his size to move people around. Hopefully he sheds some pounds too to get more explosive.HoopDreams said:

What is sad is that on the box score, at the half, in the list of our 4 "top performers" is Brown with 0 pts, 0-1fg, 0 assists, 3 rb, 1 block......I'd say that was one hell of a half....a real stat stuffer....I don't know how he ends up a -7 when he played 20 minutes and Cal is down 8?
Yah if USF has to pay attention to Anticevich and Kelly, then Bradley, Foreman and Betley may have some looks. I just don't understand why we don't look to get Betley the ball while he is open and there is movement. We shuttle him the ball only when he is guarded on the perimeter 4 out. We've relegated him to have to create which is not really the kind of player he is.HoopDreams said:

Offense for Brown must purely be in his head. On one play he was 2 feet from the basket, pump faked got his defender off of him, would had an easy layup, but kicked it out. I know he's trying his best, but Fox has to show him we need him to go to the basket. There's no reason why he can't make layups.bearmanpg said:

We started 4 guards which is part of the reason. But I can't say I disagree with this approach.

We look how we would normally look at the beginning of the season. Doing a better job taking care of the ball. That is huge. Hopefully the shooting will come. Foreman is cold.
Comes down to shooting. They are hitting. We aren't.
