2019-20 (FRESHMAN): Played in 26 games (24 starts) ... averaged 9.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game ... posted a total of 236 points, 68 rebounds, 81 assists, 13 steals and three blocks ... logged a total of 830 minutes for an average of 31.9 minutes per game ... also had a 1.2 assist-to-turnover ratio (81-66 A-TO) ... scored a season-high 26 points with a season-best five 3-pointers in the Bulldogs' 77-74 home-opening win over Winthrop, which included the assist on the buzzer-beating game-winning 3-pointer by Mustafa Lawrence ... scored at least 20 points in four games, which is the third-most by a Fresno State freshman in the last 15 seasons - two shy of Paul George, who had six during the 2008-09 season ... scored in double figures in nine games ... made at least five field goals in six games ... made multiple 3-point field goals in seven games ... collected a season-high eight rebounds at San Diego (Nov. 12) ... recorded six assists three times and two steals three times ... shot 38.0 percent from the field (81-213 FG), 30.2 percent on 3-point field goal attempts (29-96 3FG) and 83.3 percent from the free throw line (45-54 FT).

Except it is still 2020 and Hyder is injured. I don't know scope of injury - there may be those on this site who do know.

He had injury problems at Fresno where his production went down. Hopefully its not chronic. Inthink its a minor injury as Fox said he was not sure he could play in the next week. Fox said they shut him down since he was not eligible which means he has not been practicing.

It will help to have a point guard who shoots 83% from the foul line. He can also create his own shot ,which neither of our current points can do.Not sure he is a better three shooter than Foreman ,but that will not be his primary role.We hopefully might see him in limited duty Saturday against Northridge. . Can't hurt to have an extra player given the Covid problem.

Sorry if I missed it but where is the info coming from that Hyder is currently injured? Greg was saying he was the best Point Guard during fall practices?
