You researchers, when was the last time we won by 30 or more? I can't recall the last time...
Hint: It's in the game story...Big C said:

Any replay of the game? I couldn't watch. Seems like because the game was scheduled late, replays aren't scheduled.MoragaBear said:Hint: It's in the game story...Big C said:

I hope you're right although a couple of unconscious 3 point shooters can cover a multitude of sins. I was especially pleased to see the game Brown... played, driving, dishing, scoring. He's always been a plus defender and if he can begin to see and exploit openings to drive/dish/score he'll make a big difference. We'll face much better competition down the schedule and are unlikely to see this kind of dominance again but this fun to watch.HoopDreams said:
this was a growth game, a confidence builder, and helps reinforce the coaches messages
also nice to see Hyder get his feet wet. Looks like a pretty strong ball handler, with some scoring ability
The team is definitely better when hitting open shots. I thought it was telling that CSUN made the trip by bus from SoCal much like the Bears did on their road trip to Pepperdine. Not to take anything away from Cal because they still executed well, but the bus rides appear to take their toll, and CSUN isn't as bad as they looked yesterday and Cal isn't as bad as they looked against Pepperdine.bearchamp said:
Might be the team is better when not relying and featuring Bradley and GA. Just like last year, the team is improving with coaching.
Yeah, that's exactly what Fox said after the game. He said it impacted them in the Pepperdine game and seemed to impact CSUN the same way. Seems to be backed up by the fact that CSUN beat Pepperdine last week, too.Civil Bear said:The team is definitely better when hitting open shots. Grigsby will be pissed when he sees his dads Jersey is not in the rafters.Civil Bear said:Let's hope Seattle U is busing all the way down from WA on TuesdayMoragaBear said:Yeah, that's exactly what Fox said after the game. Don't leave me wondering. Why is his jersey not hanging with the other basketball honorees and celebrities?oskidunker said:

His jersey is retired. It's just not hanging from the rafters, since all the retired jerseys are framed and mounted rather than hanging from the rafters.Intuit said:Don't leave me wondering. Why is his jersey not hanging with the other basketball honorees and celebrities?oskidunker said:

It was a joke when Al Grigsby's number got retired. If perseverance, effort, heart, and soul get your number retired, there are a lot of other deserving Cal basketball players. If it is about contribution, there are plenty of more deserving players.oskidunker said:
