Anyone know how the oft-inured Alma is doing? Are there signs that she may be able to contribute this season?

All I know is what I saw at the open practice. Alma was running on the baseline, shooting, and maybe using a stationary bike. She did not participate in the on-court drills.

Too bad, I was impressed with her energy and skill in the one game she played at Cal.

Someone told me she had the highest GPA on the team. So, I guess academics are important to her.

Having only played in 1game due to injury does she still get a fully paid scholarship for these past 3 years and does it count towards the max number of scholarships allowed to give out?

Elsnitz played in other games, too, after rehab from her original injury. She wore a knee brace and was limited physically. However, I was always able to observe that she possessed a high bball IQ. It's too bad her career was
severely hindered due to two knee surgeries. I'm happy that she is succeeding academically at Cal.

Me too. That's awesome, she has close to twice my GPA and I wasn't an athlete.

1) Alma is healthy this year (despite limited activity at Open House)
2) She does indeed have the highest gpa on the team (a coveted position with stiff competition), and is majoring in Political Economy
