Exhibit A: Nina Cain (until the Brazilian player landed at Cardinal Newman, Taissa Queiroz, was considered the top player in North California for c/o 2025) is also considering Arizona, Washington, and Northwestern (which she just visited). She is said to be a 4.0-type student.

For those would have seen her, please chime in: NorCal preps lists her as 6'2" Power Forward now. In video, she looks like a fast, high-motor wing who thrives in transition. Good size and length, but 6'2"?

Exhibit B: Destiny Lunan (from Scottsdale, Arizona) is trained by her dad and they post a lot of her workouts on social media. That's how I first followed herI saw videos of this tiny little thing (but quick) maybe in 7th or 8th grade (but looked even younger) doing these sophisticated drills with a pro-hooper's discipline.

She has since grown from what looked like super slim, barely 5-foot to 5'9" and has clearly been in the weight room.

We have tough competition for Lunan as her 12 other finalists are: Arizona, Colorado, Texas Tech, North Carolina State, Tennessee, Memphis, West Virginia, St. John's, Verginia Tech, Syracuse, Florida, and Boston College. She has visited Cal's campus before unofficially, and I actually sense we have a great relationship with her, but I see her going to a bigger stage program.

Nina Cain is a wing, athletic and reasonably skilled. Her ceiling will be determined by how good a three-point shooter she can be, but her floor is high enough that she would be a great get for Cal.

Nina Cain to Washington as per Raoul.

"Nina Cain, 6-1 W/F, McClatchy HS (Sacramento, CA), has announced her commitment to Washington WBB, their second 2025 commit, joining Brynn McGaughy; her other finalists were Arizona, Cal, and Northwestern".

That's a killer.

If Lunan doesn't take an official visit to Cal, the chances of landing her as a recruit are very slim. (IMO)
