From Raoul's WBB Blog:

Isis Johnson-Musah, 5-10 SG/W, Detroit Edison Academy (MI), has announced her commitment to Cal WBB, their second 2025 commit, joining Grace McCallop; her other finalists were Boston College, Memphis, Mississippi State, and Pitt.

Note: She cut her list down to 5 Finalists from the offers received: DePaul, Marquette, Providence, Xavier, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Dayton, Hampton, Jackson State, New Mexico State, North Dakota and Virginia.

Both are 5-9 guards. Isis Johnson-Musah is rated #4 player in the state of Michigan. Both are not rated in ESPN's Hoop Gurlz Top 100 for Class of 2025. I guess these two will replace the two grad transfer guards (Kayla Williams & Jayda Noble) that the Bears brought in for this season.

Charmin and Staff out recruiting other ACC teams, this is a good sign!

Because I want to understand your opinion in the way you intend it, and if I am reading too much into it, then I apologize:
If Cal gets a recruit not in the top 100, you rate that a failed effort from the get go?
