cal's pg just intuitionally tried to run threw the wildcat post player causing her to fall backwards & almost become concussed
that would be a technical with most refs, the bears lucky to only get a common foul
I disagree. It was a flop IMO. No one falls with the upper part of one's body first like that. Kayla didn't hit her hard enough for that type of reaction. I wouldn't have called anything there.
that's a dumb azz take, the wildcat wuz in concussion protocol the rest of the game & never returned
u might need to get to america's best if u thought that violent collision ignited by kayla wuz a flop...but if ur just a homer who thinks the refs are corrupt on every questionable call that's ur prerogative
I see. I disagree with you so you resort to name calling. Interesting. Says more about you and the strength of your point of view than anything else. Yes, I root for the Bears, but I call it like I see it. I think the issue with refs (in general) is that their skills have not kept up with the athleticism of the athletes, especially on the women's side. They saw a reaction and felt like they needed to make a call. Good for the AZ player. She got the call. But it still doesn't change my opinion.
Just because someone is in concussion protocol doesn't mean it was a foul. Watch the play again. Kayla did not hit her THAT hard.
When it happened, I thought it was a clear offensive foul on the AZ player on the play when Lulu hit her head. When they showed the replay in slow mo, it was a lot closer than I thought. In fact, they could have called blocking and it wouldn't have surprised me, nor would I have had much of an argument.
