2024-25 Women's Basketball Standings - Atlantic Coast Conference

On Cal's initial road trip to play Clemson (1-2) and SMU (1/5), I would speculate that the team would fly to South Carolina on Wednesday to get acclimated and have to stay in a hotel or motel for a total of four nights until they meet SMU in Dallas on Sunday evening. In other words, Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night & Saturday night. This seems quite expensive doesn't it? The Pac 12 road trips played on Friday nights and then finished up on Sunday afternoons (so two nights only). Is this how it will play out for each road trip?

I reviewed the schedule and it appears that the Bears will have at a minimum eight tough games (based upon current records and rankings). Fortunately, five are home games and three are on the road. Of course, I realize that every road game will be difficult because Cal has never played these teams in their home environments before. It certainly should be interesting...Out of the eighteen teams, none have losing records and only Syracuse is .500 (6-6). It might be a stronger league from top to bottom than the Pac 12. Thoughts?

every ACC game will be tough, even at home ... we don't have a big margin, especially if Michelle gets in foul trouble

Well last year Pac-12 sent 8 teams to NCAA and ACC sent 9....the previous year it was 7 and 8 respectively, so pretty close it seems...
